Peugeot 3008, new rival for Qashqai

As you and you can see from the photos, there is no more experiments with "hybrid" designs like MPVs , SUVs and S/Ws. We are talking about a classic compact crossover that incorporates all those modern elements that characterize the company with the 'lion mark'.

This means that you just place it next to the new Nissan Qashqai, and upcoming Seat Ateca.
 

The new 3008 is the first car to use the new generation of «i-Cockpit» of Peugeot. Apart from the instrument panel is fully digital as it has a display of 12.3 inch high-resolution and 8-inch touchscreen in the center console for the infotainment system, practical and futuristic interior design distinguish the aircraft type switches, and there are switches motion sensor. Pleasant atmosphere is complete with the LCD backlight and the large panoramic roof.
 

Thanks to the new modular platform EMP2, new Peugeot 3008 is up to 100 kg lighter than before. All this even though the total length is 85 mm larger than in the past (in total 4.450 mm), while the same applies to the wheelbase (by 80 mm here) which has reached the total of 2.675 mm. All this of course led to the increase in internal dimensions and is luggage compartment (90 liters) which now reaches 520 lt.

Initially, the range of engines includes two mechanical turbo petrol and four diesel sets. All will be combined with either 6-speed manual transmission or automatic. The basic petrol engine is the 1.2 PureTech with 130 horsepower, while the 1.6 THP affords 165. In diesel engines have the 1.6 BlueHDi with 100 and 120 PS and 2.0 BlueHDi 150 and 180 PS. The top gasoline and diesel versions will only be available with 6 speed automatic transmission.

Optionally the new crossover can be ordered with an electric scooter or a bicycle with electric assist, which is designed to accurately stored in the luggage compartment of the new 3008, with the car to recharge their batteries while moving.

As you would expect in a modern crossover, the new 3008 features a wealth of systems that promote safety (active and passive course). In systems include among others the «Active Safety Brake» and «Distance Alert», «Driver Alert Warning», «Automatic High Beam Assistance», «Adaptive Cruise Control» with «Stop function», «Active Blind Spot Monitoring System» and Park « Assist ».

Suzuki Ignis 4WD 1.2

After the SX4 S-Cross and Vitara another "strong" name comes enhance the range crossover / SUV of Suzuki. The new Ignis premiere in Paris and finally the Japanese have published the full specifications of the small off road model.

It will be released in Europe in January 2017, in both front-wheel drive and a four-wheel drive version, with AllGrip Auto system. In both cases, the ground clearance is 18 cm.

The 5-door car has a length of 3,7 m, a wheelbase of 2,43 m. and low weight (810-920 kg, depending on the container and the equipment). 10. Icon Sheene – 172.000$

Η Icon Sheene αποτίει φόρο τιμής στο Βρετανό παγκόσμιο πρωταθλητή Grand Prix αγώνων μηχανών, Barry Sheene. Η συγκεκριμένη μηχανή αποτελεί περιορισμένη έκδοση, αφού υπάρχουν μόνο 52 αντίτυπα. Για να τονίζεται η αποκλειστικότητα κάθε μοτοσικλέτας, υπάρχει πάνω της ένα τραπουλόχαρτο ζωγραφισμένο στο χέρι, με αποτέλεσμα όλες μαζί οι μηχανές αυτού του μοντέλου που έχουν κατασκευαστεί, να συνθέτουν μια ολόκληρη τράπουλα. Αποδίδει 250 ίππους με τη βοήθεια ενός υπερσυμπιεστή Garrett, με κυβισμό 1.400 cc. Η πρώτη μοτοσικλέτα πουλήθηκε για 172.000 δολάρια και ονομάστηκε ως η πιο ισχυρή μηχανή στον κόσμο.

Το 2000, η MTT κυκλοφόρησε τη Y2K Turbine Superbike, που δημιουργήθηκε από τη Rolls Royce. Μπορεί να φτάσει σε ταχύτητα πάνω από 322 km/h. Το 2008, η εταιρεία αποκάλυψε ότι επρόκειτο να κυκλοφορήσει μια ανανεωμένη έκδοση που θα ονομάζεται «Streetfighter» με 420 ίππους. Η τιμή σίγουρα δεν προέρχεται από τις επιδόσεις της, καθώς έχει 185 ίππους και τέσσερις βαλβίδες ανά κύλινδρο με ένα εξατάχυτο κιβώτιο. Ολόκληρη η μηχανή ζυγίζει μόνο 135 κιλά, αποτελώντας την ελαφρύτερη σε αυτή τη λίστα μέχρι στιγμής.

7. Dodge Tomahawk V10 Superbike – 550.000$

Η πρώτη μοτοσικλέτα που ξεπερνά το μισό εκατομμύριο δολάρια είναι αμερικανική. Η Dodge Tomahawk για πρώτη φορά έκανε το ντεμπούτο της στο North American International Auto Show στο Ντιτρόιτ το 2003. Το συγκεκριμένο superbike είναι ένα concept automobile. Ζυγίζει 681 κιλά και μπορεί να κάνει τα 0-100 σε 2,5 sec. Επίσης, μπορεί να φτάσει έως και 482 km/h. Δεν είναι νόμιμη για χρήση στο δρόμο.

Το κάθισμά της είναι ντυμένο με κόκκινο βελούδο και το μεγαλύτερο μέρος της υπόλοιπης καλυμμένο με χρυσό 24 καρατίων. Από το 2013, είναι η μόνη επιχρυσωμένη που κυκλοφορεί. Όπως η χρυσή Bugatti Veyron του ράπερ Flo Rida, έτσι κι αυτή η μηχανή είναι σύμβολο επίδειξης χρημάτων.

4. Hildebrand & Wolfmuller – 3.500.000$

Είναι η πρώτη μοτοσικλέτα που κατασκευάστηκε ποτέ και φτιάχτηκε μεταξύ 1894 και 1897. Δεν είναι ούτε πολύ γρήγορη, καθώς έχει τελική ταχύτητα 45 km/h, ούτε πολύ βαριά. Έχουν δημιουργηθεί μόνο τέσσερις εκδόσεις αυτής της μοτοσικλέτας. Η εταιρεία, μαζί με τον Leslie Graham (σ.σ. Βρετανός αναβάτης σε αγώνες), κέρδισε ένα παγκόσμιο πρωτάθλημα το 1949 με αυτό το μοντέλο. Ο σχεδιασμός της AJS άλλαξε λίγα χρόνια αργότερα, έτσι η έκδοση που κέρδισε το πρωτάθλημα παραμένει μία από τις σπανιότερες μοτοσικλέτες σήμερα.

Οι περισσότεροι άνθρωποι ξέρουν το Neiman Marcus ως ένα πολυκατάστημα. Η συγκεκριμένη μάρκα μηχανής ξεκίνησε να κοστίζει 110.000 δολάρια, η τελική της τιμή όμως έφτασε τα 11 εκατομμύρια δολάρια σε δημοπρασία, ίσως επειδή υπάρχουν μόνο 45 αντίτυπα και είναι πολύ περιορισμένη έκδοση. Μπορεί να φτάσει τα 305 km/h. Ο σχεδιασμός της είναι κάτι διαφορετικό κι εντυπωσιακό, με μερικούς να την παρομοιάζουν με ρολόι. Η ίδια η εταιρεία την παρουσίασε ως «την εξέλιξη της μηχανής». Παρά την υψηλή τιμή και την περίεργη εμφάνιση, είναι απολύτως νόμιμη στο δρόμο.
